DISA has been providing scholarship to the students of  urban areas in Pallabi, Mirpur, Dhaka since 2011. The students studying at class eight and class ten levels who hail from ultra-poor households in the area and also members of ALOGHAR are eligible for applying for scholarship. ALOGHAR makes assessment of the applications and those satisfying the selection criteria are provided with annual scholarship in an amount of Taka 300 (USD 4.00) per student per month. The ALOGHAR Supporter groups and DISA are the main finance provider in the scholarship program. In 2019, DISA provided scholarships to 82 students from different Schools in Mirpur Area including 35 handicap students. Total 859 students where 77 were handicap students got scholarship including 2018.
